What GNSS constellations does StarHunt support?
Our receivers track BeiDou (B1/B2/B3), GPS (L1/L2/L5), GLONASS (G1/G2), and Galileo (E1/E5/E6) simultaneously across 1408 channels. Multi-constellation tracking ensures fast RTK fix times and robust positioning even in sky-obstructed environments.
How accurate are StarHunt guidance systems?
Our systems achieve ±2–3cm horizontal positioning accuracy and ±0.1° heading accuracy when using dual-antenna BeiDou RTK with a local base station or CORS network within 30km. Vertical accuracy is ±3cm under normal operating conditions.
Can StarHunt systems be retrofitted to existing construction equipment?
Yes. All our guidance systems are designed for retrofit installation. The excavator 3D system can be installed in under 2 hours with no welding or permanent modification required. Pile driver and dozer systems use clamp or magnetic mounts. We provide installation training and on-site support for initial deployments.
Do I need a local base station, or can I use existing CORS networks?
Both options work. StarHunt systems are compatible with any NTRIP-compatible CORS network. If no local CORS infrastructure exists, we can deploy a private base station or build a custom CORS network for your project. We also offer a free BeiDou satellite-based augmentation (PPP) option that provides 10cm accuracy without any ground infrastructure.
What support and warranty do you provide for international customers?
All systems include a 2-year warranty with optional extended coverage. We provide remote technical support via video call, on-site commissioning for initial deployments, and operator training. Regional service partners in Southeast Asia and the Middle East offer in-country support with spare parts inventory. Custom engineering, private labeling, and OEM integration services are available.
How does StarHunt compare to Trimble, Topcon, and Leica?
